And pull that around and under.

So that you can hold it together like this..

Now you can adjust the hole by letting the ends your holding out
or pulling them in.
Or you can leave no hole and cut it to the size you want.
Now you simply fold that top edge down to hold your "bag" together. There are 3 pictures of the folding
down so you can see what I have done.



Now your parchment bag is ready to fill. I typically use Buttercream
icing in these, but I have used whipped frosting as well.

This is about how full I make them. You have to leave some space
to close the bag.

Alot of decorators fold the tops of their parchment bag down.
That is not how I do it. I squeeze the top closed and give it a twist to hold it shut.



And the twist...
The reason I twist is that it is
easier for me to hold and squeeze than the traditional folding method.

This is what my finished bags that I use look like.

I use it for writing, piping details, small objects. Everything except
borders and roses. Some decorators put tips in Parchment bags and use them for borders and roses, but I rarely do.
